Join us for weekly after school cooking classes, summer camps, holiday classes, birthday parties, homeschooling, field trips and a lot more. Our kids cooking classes are designed and built just for kids! Kids love for cooking has never been this exciting with shows like, Masterchef Junior and Rachel vs. Guy Kids Cook-Off on the Food Network.
Little Chefs (2-5 yrs)
Classes are designed for children and a mommy, daddy, or caregiver. Working with a parent or caregiver, kids take on a meaningful, hands-on role in the cooking process, from hand-washing, to chopping and grating, to sweeping and dishwashing. With lots of smelling, touching and tasting along the way, even the pickiest tots will be tempted by their own delicious creations!
Big Chefs (6-9 yrs)
Your budding chef will marvel at how much they are capable of in the kitchen! From chopping and mincing, to peeling and grating, to measuring and mixing, to spraying, wiping, washing and sweeping, the kids get to see first hand how fun and exciting healthy food can be.
Junior Chef (10-12 yrs)
Older kids enjoy all of the hands-on fun of working in the kitchen, while delving deeper into each recipe. From basic cooking skills, to interesting facts about the ingredients and their origins, to nutritional information, to math skills, we throw in everything but the kitchen sink! (Ha, ha!)
This series class is designed for kids and teens. They will learn how to read a recipe, prepare and cook delicious and healthy dishes with emphasis on nutrition and food science. In this 5 day series course the kids will be exposed to working in the kitchen. We will cover basic kitchen techniques, measuring, how to read a recipe, how to plan a menu, basic etiquette, how to set a table, proper serving techniques, international cuisines as well as learn how to prepare a simple menu. Each week is a different culinary theme. Limited to 10 students.
We offer a Girl Scout Cooking Class Specially for your troops! . During these hands-on cooking sessions, your girls will work with our pro chefs to measure, mix and prepare delicious (and healthy) meals and snacks – all while they complete steps toward earning their Cooking Badge. We have worked with the council to create the badge themed classes but will not be providing the badges, these classes are intended to meet the cooking requirements only.

Cooking is fun, educational, useful and a life skill. Everyone needs to eat, and the more we know about the food we consume, the healthier (and happier) we will be. Making cooking a part of your homeschooling curriculum has many benefits. Most kids love to be in the kitchen, if kids cook something they are more likely to eat it, and since cooking involves many aspects of science, it is a great thing to list on your annual portfolio review.
Come celebrate your child’s next Kids birthday cooking party at Wynton’s World! Our kids birthday cooking parties offer a complete hands-on experience packed with cooking fun. We offer 2-hour birthday cooking parties for children in our kid-friendly kitchen starting at age 6. Children ages 6 can work unaccompanied by an adult. Minimum of 10 kids (including birthday person), maximum of 15 in the kitchen for these parties. You choose from ten healthy and delicious themes and then create the party meal. Each party participant also gets to decorate a cupcake just for the party.
Parents Night Out
Saturday nights are fun at Wynton’s World! Drop off your kids at 6:00pm for a cooking class, dinner, movie, games, puzzles and crafts. The kids prepare either a snack or part of their own dinner. Parents can enjoy some adult time; just make sure to pick up by 10:00pm. For kids ages 6 and up. Parents’ Night Out happens twice a month. Reservations are recommended.
What should I wear to my class? We recommend that students wear closed-toe shoes to class and to dress appropriately for a cooking environment. Open-toed shoes, and flip flops are not allowed to be worn during class. We will provide an apron during the cooking class.
Are your classes hands-on? All of the classes both for adults as well as kids at Wynton’s World are hands-on cooking unless it is noted in the class description as a demo class. You will be preparing your own recipes and dishes.
