CULINARY VACATION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Culinary America is a culinary vacation in the USA for international culinary students. This 3-week cooking vacation focus on American cuisine. We are based in charming Cary, North Carolina. Our hands-on cooking workshops take place in a relaxed, warm and intimate atmosphere. Our in-house chef patiently and expertly guides the classes as you learn to prepare delicious American specialties.  You’ll spend your mornings in our cozy kitchen with fellow international classmates, creating a variety of sweet and savory dishes from around our country. Eligibility

The minimum age is 16 years. There is no maximum age. Parents and guardians of under-18’s should read our parental consent form, and are required to send us the completed and signed form before the student’s arrival date. While we welcome students from all over the world, we do require that a reasonable standard of English can be spoken. As a guide if English is your second language, we would ask that you take our Online English Pretest. We consider you a complete beginner if your result is less than low intermediate.

Accommodation

All students live with local families in what we call a homestay. Homestay hosts are a diverse group: young and old, married couples with children, single people living alone, groups of people sharing housing, working people and retirees, professionals and shop owners, scientists and schoolteachers, artists and artisans, etc. We try to match students with hosts with similar interests. NOTE: During our NYC Tour, students will share accommodations in the hotel.

Activities & Excursions

These exciting adventures are all designed to enrich your experience with hands-on opportunities to explore the culture and surroundings of North Carolina and America. Our excursions are filled with a myriad of types of activities in our attempt to captivate your interest and give you the most authentic experience possible. Each day also includes free time with friends to explore your own interests and hobbies.

Visas

Wynton’s World specializes in short-stay programs. Our students stay for 3 weeks. If you are coming to the United States to participate in our program, you will need a tourist visa. Students should contact their local Embassy, Consulate or High Commission to ensure they are allowed to enter the USA. Wynton’s World will endeavor to support students at all times, but cannot be held responsible for decisions taken by Embassies or immigration authorities regarding entry visas or extensions, or regarding changes made to regulations. Minimum payment, as set out in your proforma or invoice, must be received in full prior to any supporting visa documentation being issued. There are additional fees to have original documents couriered.
