Anyone interested in beginning a profession as a travel agent should first determine the type of skills, training and certification necessary to provide travel services for clients–whether you work at an established travel agency, as an independent contractor, or as a home-based travel agent. This course offers both the history and future prospects of the travel industry as well as discusses different types of travel enjoyed by individuals, including domestic and international travel and travel by land, air, and sea.

Catering

Caterers cook and transport food for other people’s parties. Unlike restaurants where all the cooking and serving happens at the same location, caterers have the added logistical challenge of transporting food from their kitchen to the party venue.

Become servsafe certified today!

In North Carolina, your restaurant or food service establishment can earn certification in servsafe (Safe food handling) to comply with your next health inspection grade when you or one of your full time employees passes the ServSafe® Food Protection Manager exam! Wynton’s World holds regularly scheduled ServSafe® classes throughout the triangle area that meets NC requirements.

No class is ever cancelled except for rare inclement weather. Our instructors have proven teaching methods and we are proud of our student’s high pass rate on the ServSafe exam. In fact, we are so dedicated to giving our students what they pay for that if one of our students does not pass the exam, that student can sit in on a class and retest at no additional charge of any kind!

Event Planning

Event planning is one of the hottest new fields available to people from all walks of life today.  Although some event planners may possess a college degree in business or a related field of study, a college degree is not required to be an event planner, nor is a certificate or any other formal training–although any training and/or education you can receive would certainly be very beneficial and give you an edge over others just starting out.
